Dusty Hicks

Local Project Manager


Dusty has more than 20 years experience in the ski and outdoor sporting goods industries. He is a licensed real estate broker and maintains strong environmental stewardship on the ranch lands he manages. Dusty was a past President of the South Fork Chamber of Commerce, past Vice-President and a founding member of the Upper Rio Grande Economic Development Council, and has served on multiple boards for regional economic development and community-based organizations.

Dusty is the local liaison and point of contact with the local communities, governments, and community organizations. He has experience with land use, water rights, utility infrastructure, wildlife analysis, marketing, and the NEPA process.

Dusty is a 4th generation Colorado Native, resides in South Fork and chose to return home to southern Colorado to raise his three children. The San Juan Mountains which he calls home have endless recreational opportunities and resources for Dusty and his family to enjoy including hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, four wheeling, skiing, boarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, golfing, sightseeing, and photography.
