The Leavell-McCombs Joint Venture owns the Village at Wolf Creek. Two individuals, B.J. "Red" McCombs and Bob Honts own the entities that comprise this company.

The principal and controlling Owner is B.J. McCombs and the McCombs Family Trust.

Bob Honts is the President and CEO and sole owner of the Village at Wolf Creek Development Corporation, the Managing Venturer of the Leavell-McCombs Joint Venture, and is the operating partner of the McCombs-Honts ownership duo.

Red McCombs and his partner Bob Honts know that the Village potential as “The Premier Mountain Recreational Village in the World”, can only be achieved by breaking the standard business mold, and by bringing an entirely new market to Southwest Colorado, and the economically distressed Tri-County area.
